New!!! Chairlift with heated seats, more snow-making facilities,....

New at Skizentrum Angertal:

80 additional parking spaces
Due to the newly built Senderbahn lift, more visitors will stream into the Skizentrum Angertal by car. Reason enough for an extension to the existing parking facilities. Around 80 additional parking spaces were created through the construction of a new access ramp onto the roof of the existing park deck. By the way: carefree holidays are now possible, too – thanks to an improved ski-bus system.

New at the 6-seater ‛Weitmoser’ chairlift:

more comfort through heated seats
In future the seats on the 6-seater Weitmoser chairlift will feel pleasantly warm. This very popular lift has now been fitted with heating for the seats.

New in the skiing area:

Even more snow-making facilities
Gasteiner Bergbahnen has invested a total of 1.2 million Euro in the snow-making facility on the Sender downhill run and in tower guns to replace some lances in the region of the Jungeralm ski-run. The acquisition of these more efficient snow-making tower guns and the optimization of the water supply have resulted in a further increase in the power of the Schlossalm snow-making plant.

New to the fleet:

3 pistenbullys and 1 skidoo
Gasteiner Bergbahnen’s ‛fleet’ undergoes constant modernization. This guarantees optimum grooming of the ski-runs on the Schlossalm, on the Stubnerkogel and Graukogel as well as in Sportgastein. Three pistenbullys have been replaced this year and a new skidoo (motorized sledge) was purchased. The investment for these three vehicles totals around one million Euro.
