Gastein’s skiing region offers the best conditions for first steps in the snow

The area of the practice zone at Skizentrum Angertal has been almost doubled.
Children learn skiing at play.
Learning to ski in the Gastein Valley is now easier, faster and better than ever since the practice areas at Skizentrum Angertal and in the Bucheben Arena have been considerably extended.

Pleasure and fun exercising in the snow – that’s what Franz Schafflinger, Director of Gasteiner Bergbahnen, wishes all guests, young and old, who learn to ski in the Gastein Valley. And what does that require? Above all, space. And Gasteiner Bergbahnen has now almost doubled the space at Skizentrum Angertal by connecting the Judau and Wolfstall fields. There are also addition ‛tunnel conveyors’, through which the newly created slope space can be optimally used.
And near the Buchebenarena in Bad Gastein there is a novelty for kids, too. A practice field has been provided and two conveyors ensure that the kids move uphill easily and in comfort. For amusement and fun there is also a children’s carousel.
