Gastein Valley goes Freestyle and gets its Snowboard Park!
Finally the legendary Gastein-Valley gets its longed for snowpark. And even more than that: It gets a QPark! That means a sophisticated setup and snowparkconception and perfect quality from the first day of the season to the last. QParks is the biggest player in snowparks in the German speaking European regions. 11 exceptional snowparks from Lower Austria to Graubünden in eastern Switzerland are built and maintained under this label. Together with the highly motivated Gasteiner Bergbahnen AG QParks will develop one of the most regarded snowparks in Austria.
The Snowpark Gastein is located in the “Stubnermulde” on the Stubnerkogel. The “Stubnermulde” itself is located directly above the nice city of Bad Gastein. It can be reached with the “Stubnerkogelbahn” in one ride directly out of town. The connection to the well known “Schlossalm” and Bad Hofgastein is also very good: Just go up with the “Angertalbahn” from the Angertal and head directly towards the Stubnermulde. The whole Stubnermulde is now provided as snowpark-area and with the “Burgstalllift” the Snowpark Gastein has a perfect lift-connection. Directly at the bottom-end of the Snowpark Gastein the cozy “Stubneralm” offers delicious food and drinks to hungry park-riders. On sunny days one can chill on the snowpark- and sunturned terrace and enjoy the show!
